Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Raccoon Video Compressor ("the app", "we") handles. The short version: your videos are processed on your device and are never uploaded by us. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Ads and Google Play Billing, which process limited technical data as described below.
Your videos and files
Videos you choose are read and compressed locally with your phone's hardware encoder. Compressed videos and extracted audio are written to the app's storage and, if you keep "Save exports to gallery" on, to Movies/Raccoon and Music/Raccoon on your device. We do not upload, view, store or share your videos, file names or audio.
Data collected by third-party services

These providers process data under their own policies: Firebase, Unity, Google. We never sell your personal data.
Advertising ID and your choices
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads). Raccoon Premium removes all ads.
Permissions
- Videos / files — only the videos you pick with the system picker or share to the app.
- Notifications — to show progress while compressing in the background.
- Foreground service — so long exports keep running when you leave the app.
- Internet — for ads, analytics and purchases. Videos are never sent over the network.
Retention and deletion
Your export list is stored only on your device; uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it. Analytics data is kept by Firebase for up to 14 months. To request deletion of analytics data linked to your app instance, see Delete data.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
All data sent to the services above travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
